Darkness' Shadows

Eyes straining at the maroon clock

Tick tock life is running a marathon

Heart hurting, confusion, sacrifice

Stomach penetrated by a thousand knives

Glowing face with an infected mind

What is this emotion of devotion?

Justice is not worth the pain.

Chest bleeding out soul

The knotted noose is set

Floating on Mr. Scratch

Letting go of memories

Taking the plunge

Hugged by death

What is this feeling of healing?

Mr.Reaper’s kiss

Numbness enters the body

Realization sets in

Shock overcome with fear

Lungs slowing down

What happens when one can’t breath?

Red sea water tears

The knife is set

What will you do?

To have loved or to have loathed

Dare I say help me?

Eternal slumber

I guess this is farewell.

Bloody Romance

By Rose Nizami

Underwear describes

Us as a pair, one hole for

Each leg, united

You a necromancer, make

My dead heart pop into life

Lone Rider

By Rose Nizami

It's difficult to

Find a mate, who lights my face

With pure fire. So,

Will you ride the clickedy-

Clank roller coaster with me?

Yeah and the 'Lone Rider' one sounds like the reader is going to say 'I do' doesn't it.

"Never Ment To Be"

By Rose Nizami

If hell were to freeze over i would die

Thinning blood, so chilled in the heat

What can make ivory turn rouge?

Too much loath for love

Feeling like a pyro with no light

Waiting for the right flame

Could you start the fire for me?

The one hidden in these black eyes?

The one that infests my brain with maggots?

Does he beware the black rose?

I love the line "Ivory turned rouge; too much loath for love"

It speaks to me of how purity(love) becomes corrupted(hurt, loathing). You conjure some great imagery.

Chocolate Cravings

By Rose Nizami

Halloween is a day to dress up. Imagination takes over and ghouls look for a good fright. Parties are scattered, from house to house delivering cavities to the best of show monster.

I, woman, crave, lush, melty, chocolate and visit such places. On my monthly, blood drenched pants, dripping with no pad, having no barrier for a hidden topic, feeling the safe identity of myself. Woman. I am a woman, not covered in pig's blood, but rather the marks of a warrior. Blood, that of a wild cat.

Walking through a forest of costumes, I make my way to the wanted treats, leaving a snail trail of slimy, grotesque, fluid. The "man" sporting Nixon's face, notices and his body says that I had left elephant tracks. Seconds fly and so does the vomit and then soon after the whole crowd. The parties doomed and then it ended. Me by myself with the chocolate.

"HISSSS", a vampire grabs my neck; I am struck with relief. For all the other wanna be vampires would rather fang themselves than bite me. And then he said, "Ironic, about how we celebrate a witch's holiday, when most were killed because of P.M.S." Then my eyes share the sweetness of the candy with him. And now the party begins. Period.
